In order to get an overview of where the sector stands, data are anonymized and aggregated. A sectoral overview provides insight into trends, strengths, and possible gaps … and strengthens us as a sector in consultations with authorities, stakeholders, etc. A sectoral overview is also useful as a benchmark for the individual company, which can use this information to further shape its own sustainability policy, set new objectives, etc.
Users of the tool receive a sector overview annually.
The Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME) was developed by EFRAG for non-listed SMEs and micro-enterprises that wish to voluntarily report on their sustainability efforts. You can download the full standard from the VSME standard website
