About
With this tool, 100% SME-compliant, we wanted to provide an answer to the great need of our members who could no longer see the forest for the trees in the sustainability jungle. This tool is on the one hand an instrument to comply with the VSME questionnaires and to meet the trickle-down effects of companies that must comply with the CSRD, and on the other hand a management tool to guide you in sustainability reporting, integrate this aspect into your business management, and develop a vision on sustainability.
Sustainability reporting has become a license to operate — you can no longer do without it. But today our companies face a very heavy administrative and financial burden, along with a severe shortage of staff, time, and knowledge. In addition, customers and authorities are demanding more and more on all fronts. Companies received an abundance of sustainability-related questions, from different lists, from SBTi, Ecovadis, … and were forced to buy expensive software tools and hire even more expensive consultants. All of this turned sustainability reporting into a hopeless task instead of creating opportunities.
As a federation, we are close to our members, and the companies asked us: “Help! How do we even start?!”
With this tool, we wanted to offer a practical solution: to provide knowledge, lend a helping hand, but above all to teach companies to report by themselves, and to see sustainability as an opportunity instead of yet another obligation. And that almost free of charge.
And we succeeded!
We immersed ourselves in the subject and are guiding our members through this journey. And what turns out? Many organizations and companies in other sectors, both at home and abroad, are showing interest in our instrument.
We already wish you great success with our tool, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments!
FVP house, the umbrella organization for the trade and processing of fruit, vegetables, and potatoes, advocates administrative simplicity and maximum harmonization of approaches in sustainability reporting. That is why FVP house supports this project, and in collaboration with Fenavian/Brema it was decided to expand the use of the tool and make it available to interested SMEs in the F&V-P sector.
